Fundraising Principles
Volunteer with the Centre
If you would like to volunteer with the centre in any of our campaigns or become a patron of the centre,
please email or ring to find out further details.
As with most voluntary organisations, funding from statutory agencies
rarely covers the running costs of the Centre,
so fundraising is vital to ensure the continuation and development of the service.

Evening Echo Women’s Mini Marathon
Every year The Sexual Violence Centre have a team to run the Women’s Mini Marathon.
We are always looking for participants so if you want to run, jog or walk with us.

Patron Scheme
The Sexual Violence Centre has been designated an eligible charity by the Revenue Commissioners, which render donations of €250 and over eligible for tax relief, conferring additional income to the Centre or the donor. The Sexual Violence Centre can claim tax relief on donations of €250 or more in a year if you are a PAYE only taxpayer. If for example you donate €250 in one year it could actually be worth an extra €173 to the Centre without any additional cost to you.

Taking Time Guided Relaxation CDs can be bought in the Centre
These CDs were launched on 8 March 2004 to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the Centre.
Note cards and greeting cards as seen below are on sale in the Centre
The artists of these beautiful cards who have kindly donated their work include Pauline Bewick, Fiona Turley, Mary Mackey, Donna Coogan, Carín MacCanna and Debbie Dawson. All proceeds will go towards the work of the centre.
The cards are €1 each or 6 for €5.
